The Michigan Works! facility is host to weekly visits by Ottawa County employers who are actively seeking employees. The employers set up a table where applicants can ask about the company, the open positions, and fill out applications for the open positions.

Michigan Works! will advertise the employer of the week and the day the employer will be on the premises, and if applicable the types and numbers of positions being filled.

On-Site Job Fairs

If you are an employer who is looking to fill open positions one of your options is to set up for a day at the Clover Street service center as the Employer of the Week. Also from time to time, the Michigan Works! service center will host several employers at once in a mini-job fair.

Employers who are looking for a skilled workforce will approach us for a venue which we provide - either on site or elsewhere.

As part of the event employers are provided interviewing space and room for applicants to fill out applications. Also Michigan Works! will screen resumes and make phone call pre-interviews.

Job fairs are always well attended and provide an excellent venue for an employer to gather applications from a large group of skilled and motivated job seekers.
